Why do I get a "Non-fatal error" in the CPU when downloading the configuration?
A:This error is usually caused by a block conflict with the automatically generated wizard subroutines. To resolve this, go to the project tree in STEP 7-Micro/WIN, locate and delete the subroutine named TD_ALM_0, and then re-download the project to the CPU.

How does the TD 200 get its power supply? Do I need an external power supply?
A:Direct Connection (< 2.5 meters): If you use the standard TD/CPU cable (supplied with the unit) connected directly to the S7-200 CPU's PPI port, the TD 200 draws 24V DC power directly from the CPU through Pin 2 and Pin 7 of the 9-pin D-sub connector. No external power supply is needed.Long-Distance Connection (> 2.5 meters): If you use a network cable or an EM 277 module where power is not carried, you must connect an external 24V DC power supply to the power terminal on the back of the TD 200.
