The Invensys Foxboro P0972AJ FBI10E Fieldbus Isolator is an I/A Series hardware module designed to connect Control Processor 60 systems with Y-Module form factor Fieldbus Modules. It converts 10 Mbps Ethernet Fieldbus signals from the CP60 into HDLC signals used by FBMs, enabling reliable communication between the control processor and field I/O modules. The FBI10E also provides galvanic isolation between the Ethernet Fieldbus and FBMs, supports up to 24 FBMs, and can be used in redundant Fieldbus configurations.
