The Invensys Foxboro P0961BC CP40B Control Processor 40, Style B is a high-performance I/A Series controller module for industrial process automation. It performs regulatory, logic, timing and sequential control with Fieldbus Modules, Fieldbus Cluster I/O cards and migration integrator I/O. The CP40B also supports data acquisition, alarm detection, alarm notification and Panel Display Station interfacing. It can operate as a single-width non-fault-tolerant processor or as two CP40B modules in a fault-tolerant pair for improved reliability.
