The 8C-PDISA1 is a Series 8 Digital Input Sequence of Events (SOE) module for the Honeywell Experion C300 controller. It accepts 24 VDC discrete signals and provides time-tagging of input state changes with 1 ms resolution for sequence of events recording. The module supports three modes of operation: Normal (20 ms PV scan), SOE (1 ms resolution, 20 ms PV scan), and Low Latency (5 ms PV scan). It features extensive internal diagnostics, optional redundancy, galvanic isolation, and on-board excitation power (internal or external field power selection). The module plugs into a Series 8 IOTA (8C-TDILA1 for non-redundant, 8C-TDILB1 for redundant) and is conformally coated for harsh environments.
