The 6DS1220-8AB module is a bus interface module that enables the AS 235 H automation system to participate in the TELEPERM M CS 275 serial bus system. It supports local bus communication (up to 20 m) and, together with a UI bus converter unit, remote bus communication (up to 4 km). In an AS 235 H redundant system, one N8-H module must be installed for each CPU (CPU I and CPU II). Both modules must have identical bus address (BA) and participant address (TA) settings.
