Detailed Description
This 38B6041X152 is a replacement submodule for the DVC6200 series digital valve controller. The I/P converter is a critical component located on the front of the module base. It receives an electrical drive signal from the printed wiring board (PWB) assembly and converts it into a proportional pneumatic pressure signal. This small pneumatic signal is then routed to the pneumatic relay, where it is amplified to produce the final output pressure that positions the valve actuator.
After replacing the I/P converter, it is necessary to recalibrate the digital valve controller to maintain accuracy specifications.
Compatibility: DVC6200 and DVC6200f series digital valve controllers
Operation: Converts electrical drive signal to a proportional pneumatic output
Coil Resistance: 1680 - 1860 ohms (for diagnostics)
